Crab Buffet @ Park Hotel Brizo

EAT ALL THE CRABS TO YOUR HEART’S CONTENT AT PARK HOTEL!

Address: 1 Unity St Singapore 237983
Contact: +65 6593 8899

Last year, I attended a crab buffet at another hotel and went back for more with my parents. This year, I had another crab buffet at Park Hotel – Brizo Restaurant & Bar with the blogger friends!

William. James. Maybeline.

There were more than 19 types of appetising crab delicacies to the table, tempting diners with one of the most satisfying crab feast from 3 July to 31 Aug 2014.

You know you have to attack the all-time favourite in Singapore first – Chilli Crab.

Other than Chilli Crabs, other flavours were also available at the buffet.

Black Pepper, Salted Egg, Steamed, Heavenly Fragrance, Baked, Laksa and many other flavors.

Making the debut is the Heavenly Fragrance Crab that encapsulates Chinese, Malay and Indian flavors. The crabs are stir-fried with crispy bits of dried shrimp, aromatic curry leaves, chillies and curry powder.

The hot favourite that night was the pippin’ hot steam crab!

There was also Rock crab laksa Bee Hoon which was served in a bowl! Among all the crabs, salted egg crab is still my favourite.

Small fried crab snacks were also available as well – Soft shell crab, breaded crab claw etc.

After a meal of sinful indulgence, go light. Feel less guilty by eating salad!

And then continue with your feast with the cold dishes.

The cold prawns were very fresh!

Done with all the food. Now to the desserts!

We went WOW when we saw Magnums and Cornetto for desserts.

Happy kids on the go!

Desserts like Jelly, Hot Cheng Tng, Chilled Melon with Sago and assorted cakes were also available.

In conjunction with local’s delight and season, durian mousse was also included in the dessert menu!

Chocolate fondant.

William and me literally wipe out the macaroons for the bloggers at our table! Heh.

And the kuey he loves…

The buffet is available from 3 July to 31 Aug 2013.

Each buffet dinner comes with complimentary parking for dinner.

Thursday to Sundays – 6.30pm to 10.30pm:

$55++/pax

Momiji Japanese Buffet – GOOD!

I have long heard of Momiji Japanese Buffet but have never been there personally because I like to stick to my usual buffet place, which, surprisingly, also belongs to the same group of company as Momiji!

Being a vivid fan of japanese food, I wouldn’t allow myself to miss out on food tasting like this. The restaurant I went to is located at 55 Newton Road, Revenue House.

A King Crab feast was also taking place during the visit. The feast was supposed to end some time later but due to overwhelming response, the crabs are running out fast!! So while stock lasts! The king crab feast is available with a promotion price of $37.80+++ for an adult. I was expecting the price to go over $50 but no. It is this affordable!!

Although it is called the King Crab Feast, you can also find yourself indulging in the freshest sashimi, wagyu beef, kurobuta, shabu shabu, Teppanyaki and seaaafooooooodddddd.

While indulging in the food, you can also enjoy free flow of Sapporo beer….. yes, this is also included in the buffet…. Free flow of beer… Mmmm… How do they even make profit?!

If you want cooked food, you can always go for other options. They have a variety of premium items. You can have fresh, to grill, to steam and so much more!!

No japanese buffet is japanese if they don’t serve chawanmushi.

Guilty but not sorry, I had 4 cups of chawanmushi that evening.

Some local delights can also be found in the buffet. This suits my family so much. My mom and brother prefers local delights while my dad and me prefers Japanese food. What a good place for a family buffet dinner. And the entire meal for the table would only cost us less than $200!

Char siew.

Deep fried tofu.

Scallops.

Mouth watering teppanyaki.

For dessert wise, you can to choose from a huge variety as well!! There is free flow of Haagen-Dazes ice cream, cakes, moji, chocolates, cream puffs and fruits!

They are all of better quality – expensive ice creams, thick creamy chocolates, sweet fruits and chilled cakes!

Visit their Facebook for more information on the buffets available! – https://www.facebook.com/Momiji.JapaneseBuffet

New weekend Changi Brunch Menu

Azur brings together the best of the East and West for a refreshed menu of the popular Weekend Changi Brunch featuring local and international cuisine.

The Weekend Changi Brunch also includes all time local favorites featuring Prawn Noodles from the Local Delights Noodle Bar with sweet and juicy prawns in a flavoursome broth, fluffy Ham Chim Peng with three delicious fillings – Sesame, Peanut or Loutus Paste and fragrant Roasted Chicken served with tangy homemade chilli sauce.

The prawn noodles has a little tinge of spiciness which I personally quite like it because I realized that most authentic prawn noodles has this little tinge too!

They are served in little portions in the white mug below so that you can keep your tummy for other food.

A burst of Asian and Western flavour

Asian dishes like Chicken Malai Kebab and Nasi Briyani from the Indian Cuisine Claypots, succulents Braised “Dong Po” Pork Belly and Kong Bak Pao, Wok Fried Golden Crabmeat Fried Frice and Steam Fish Fillet with Dried Shrimp Sambal and Caramelized onions.

Highlight highlight! So juicy!

This is not Har Gao, it’s scallop dumping :O

You can also make your own rojak! Yay. Lesser of pineapple and more of you tiao pleaseeee.

For a taste of west….. They have German Sausage with Juniper berry sauerkraut and Beef Jus from the Butcher’s Carving station, Maked Mussels with aioli Herbs, Oven Roasted Chicken with Green Pepper Jus and Pan Seared Australian Beef Steak with Black Pepper Cream Sauce.

My favourite was the egg section. You can choose sunny side up, scramble, omelette, or poached and pick any fillings of your choice.

I had 2 servings of Ham Scrambled. All Sims are egg lovers!! Carrie and David (Nadia’s husband), are Sim too and we are huge lovers of eggs. It’s proven! 😀

Mushroom Omelette.
