Sneak and peek at Heineken!
Leaving for Taiwan for my sister’s trip in less than 10 days time. What I hate about going overseas is that I have to reject all the events during the trip!! Sigh, there are already quite a handful of them coming up 🙁 Lucky J will be helping me with some when I am away. There will be a men’s event as well, hope he benefits from it! Hehe. Last Friday, William brought us to Heineken’s party. We traveled to the future there. J looked so cute in the pictures from that night. BAHAHAHA. To make him even cuter, I forced him to buy some coloured lenses (that I am…

Cooking with Lee Kum Kee [Vlog]
We can’t cook. All we (I) can cook is probably instant noodles. I suck at cooking cause I find cooking a chore. Why spend hours and hours in the kitchen just for a meal when I can just spend 5 minutes for a takeaway. So glad that Lee Kum Kee came out with something that makes cooking SO much easier! I would call it a “cheat” actually. Because, HOW can anyone whip up all these dishes within 30 minutes?!?!?! Lee Kum Kee is found in almost every Chinese household in Singapore. My mom uses Lee Kum Kee sauces. They have 19 existing variants and they are adding 5 more to…

Illumination Beach Party @ Sentosa
We had one hell of a crazy night yesterday! I went to Illumi Nation Beach Party at Siloso beach with J after work. It is Asia’s first glow-in-the-dark paint party!! As I didn’t want to dirty my camera during the splash, the photos we took were mostly from William who was super duper drunk!! HAHA. I love how he always strip himself naked when he’s high! The ground was pretty huge because there was a lot of different booths from photo taking, to splashing of neon paint, body art, drinks, snacks and more. So glad that we were at the VIP area where we were served free flow of drinks…

Wedding Bells
Sigh.. I think I am seriously getting older and older… Other than counting the numbers of lines on your face, you can also estimate the age by counting the number of wedding invitations received. Total wedding invitations received this year: 5 People around me are getting married while I am still pretending to be young. Literally acting cute and having fun. Enjoy some of the pictures taken at the very unique wedding of #chriSmith! Base: Kate Tokyo, Hada Labo BB Air Eyes: StarLash Liquid Eyeliner, Collection Cosmetics Natural Lashes Blush: Revlon Lips: VDL Dress courtesy of Style Bliss: http://miyoconline.com/shopping.php?mode=B&var=6329 I have people googling for my age. So make a guess? What’s…

Couple Day Out 3 with #jamesnmaybel
He brought me to a new cafe in my list which is located at Dempsey. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and there’s free parking which was a bonus! We brought our laptops to work because there is free plug and wifi. I could stay there all day long! I love the ambience here. It was a weekend but the crowd wasn’t that packed or noisy, unlike other cafes where you have to queue and queue and queue. They sell other stuffs here where you can buy them back. From wine, to water, to other food. I ordered a huge size of rainbow cake at $9 🙂 (The smarties were…

Saboten at 313 Somerset
Yayyy. I always visit IMM for Saboten but now I can have it at 313 Somerset too!! Most events are held in town so it would be a good place for an after-event catch up with blogger friends! J and me dined at Saboten before we got together. Heh. Like the other outlets (other than IMM), you can have free flow of greens. I also love their specially imported rice from Japan. Let me show you what they have on their menu (part of it) before showing you the promotions! To celebrate the new opening, you will be able to find Iberico Loin Katsu, Fried Jumbo Prawn and few grilled…

Black & White: The Dawn of Justice
I love action-packed movies from Hong Kong a lot and most of them are really good. Black & White: The Dawn of Justice (痞子英雄) is a Taiwan movie but it is as good as the action-packed movies that were produced in Hong Kong!! There are more than enough thrillers to keep you in suspense. The movie is directed by Tsai Yueh-Hsun and will be in cinemas in from 9 Oct 2014 onwards. – Attended the movie gala with J last night with the director and Mark Chao (I don’t know who is he until I googled him) present. I had to googled for Mark Chao before watching the movie because I…

Couple Day Out 2 #jamesnmaybel
Another day out with J. But a more chillax one cause we were too tired from my work/his flight. The night before, I told the caricaturist at #lovenco that I’ll be fetching my boyfriend at the airport the day after so he couldn’t make it for the event and he drew me this so that I can hold this while waiting for him at the arrival hall. So cute! Yeah! The boy got tanned and put on a little weight… lol Not forgetting this pair of New Balance which I got him when he was in Australia. For people who are interested, I got it at New Balance Concept Store…

SK-II Magic Ring Test
We never really had a skin analysis done before and we don’t know how good/bad our skin is. We took the opportunity to do the Magic Ring Test at the SK-II event last month! Magic Ring Test is free. Visit them at their counters for an analysis too. My skin age is only 18 (or 19, I can’t remember). YAYYYYYYYYY. I think I need to take care of the spots (not visible yet but prone to spots according to the chart) most. Have to focus on that rather than firming. I tend to focus on firming more cause I don’t want saggy skin. Trust me. I am not as young…

Couple Day Out #jamesnmaybel
As mentioned, J and me meet 30 out of 31 days a month so we are quite “bored” of the usual dates in Singapore. Other than catching a movie, shopping, cafe hopping, I arranged a special date for us over one of the weekends! His first ever facial was done last month for a review so I arranged a Glycolic Chemical Peel for us… Now, why chemical peel instead of another facial? To me… A facial can “cleanse” the skin and remove unwanted debris and dirt. But a chemical peel can improve the skin’s appearance by peeling off the first layer of the skin. New skin will grow out smoother…
