Last year, I put a bottle of MOSCHINO Fresh Eau De Toilette (Blue) on my shelf for display because it was too cute to be emptied! This year, this summer, MOSCHINO Pink Fresh was gifted to me again. YAYYY! What a cute set of fragrance on display! Aren’t we a fan of MOSCHINO’s accessories and perfume bottles?!

MOSCHINO PINK FRESH COUTURE is the new floral fragrance that every girl must have. It is MOSCHINO’s interpretation of the original Fresh perfume – sparkling and feminine notes suited for the everyday lady who wants to have fun. REVIEW: W.Lab K-beauty brand is finally in Singapore!

If you haven’t already know, W.Lab is finally available in Singapore!! It was originally founded in 2013 in Korean, but Thank you Aresa Singapore for bringing it in! Honestly, W.Lab is a fairly new brand to me but I have heard beauty bloggers raving about it before! I saw their stores in myeongdong too!

What I love about the brand is that they emphasises the use of natural ingredients so lesser chemicals are introduced into their products. This benefits people who have sensitive skin a lot because they can’t use every single brand out there. I may not have sensitive skin but trust me, when I shop for my cosmetics and body care, I tend to go for products which contains lesser chemicals.

Even though we were sponsored with a whole range of their products, I am only going to share with you some of my favourites! What attracted me to Blossom White Cushion was the packaging. I thought the coverage was going to be light but BOOMS, when I spread it evenly over my face, my pores were gone instantly!





It is available in 3 shades, 13, 21 and 23. I am currently using 21 if you need to know! 🙂

It works like a skincare too as it has anti-aging and wrinkle improvements properties. So if you think that you are too old for it, NOPE! Give it a try! The cushion also contains 33% Damask Rose Water, yay! I hope that they will come out with some refill pack or something soon!





Another makeup product that I seriously need to rave about is their eyeshadow palettes – W.Lab Pocket Shadow Palettes. I knew I was in love when I first saw them because of the colours. Each palette contains both glittery and matte colours which means that you can use them for a day or night look.





Some people may find it hard to achieve a glittery look for the eyes because glittery eyeshadows are usually not so pigmented but you will be surprised to find the colours are actually fairly pigmented. The swatches below are done with a single swipe. I must say that the glitters didn’t fail me.





W.Lab has a lot of different blushers but we were given Bling Bling Cheek during the event. Just 1 swipe and you can get gradient cheeks! So effortlessly easy.





The Velvet Colour Stick sure lives up to its name. It has a creamy and velvety texture that glides onto the lips easily. How do my Chilly Red shade fare?

Even though it is quite pigmented, I am glad to share that it is easy to wash off as well.





A makeup look isn’t complete if you don’t have a contour palette or W.Lab Color Master Cover Kit.

This small palette here contains 6 shades to address your flaws (if any). The Flower Lip & Cheek Kit comes in a similar packaging and the colours are surprisingly highly pigmented. If you need you change your lip colour at least two times a day, simple slot this into your makeup pouch any day!





I tend to have oily face after spending half a day outdoor and I think I am not the only one having this issue. With the weather so crazily hot in Singapore, how can our make up not melt or look greasy after 5 hours?

This leads to my next product, Sebum Out Finish Pact. After I am done with my look, I tend to finish it off with Sebum Out Finish Powder, followed by the Finish Pact. If you have the same issue as me, you can pad on some Finish Pact powder every 4 hours to mattify your face. It can also reduce sedum secretion and brighten your overall complexion at the same time.





So love the texture!





Enough of make up. How about their skincare? Here’s my verdict! Do take note that they have more than just these. I am just sharing some of my favourites 🙂

I got people asking me questions like – What is a Cleansing Balm? What does it do?

Simply put, a Cleansing Balm is a make up remover. I personally feel that it is almost the same as an oil-based makeup remover.





The texture? It feels a little powdery and oily but that is what makes cleansing easier. A simple scoop of it can effectively clean away an entire face of make up. Remember to use a facial cleanser after that though. Like most make up remover, this is not a 2-in-1 thing. I am quite sure I will be buying the cleansing balm again after my first tub.





I love their pore series – Black Kill too!! Probably because I am very into pores products recently HEHE. I need to praise their Black Kill Pore Cleanser because of the rubber brush!





The brush is soft and gentle enough for my cheeks. Suitable for very very lazy people like me.





Don’t judge my pores but this is how I use it! I press the button to dispense some cleanser twice and rub them on my cheeks for a good 30 seconds on each side.





They have other products like Body Scrub, Cleansing Foam and even Quick Whitening Cream. I haven’t had the time to try them out but if I ever do, I will share the verdicts with you guys! 😀

REVIEW: ORBIS Sunscreen On Face Sunscreen

I am someone who would go light anytime – be it my body weight or the make up I apply on my face 😛

If I can avoid putting on make up on weekends, I would. But one thing that I can’t ever miss or give up is sunscreen. Prevention is always better than cure. With sun UV rays so strong in Singapore, I don’t want to risk walking on the streets without sun protection and going home to skin pigmentation. There is absolutely no reason to skip your sunscreen unless you don’t mind having brown spots on your face!

Today, I will be sharing about Orbis Sunscreen On Face.





The difference between ORBIS Sunscreen on Face Light and Sunscreen on Face Moist is the texture. Light is more watery in texture as compared to Moist, which is more creamy. Even though I would prefer watery texture but the creamy texture for MOIST is not as thick as I had imagined it to be so… I am good with both!

These two are my first tube of each and honestly, I was sold by the texture. They are ultra-lightweight! On top of the sun protection of SPF34 PA+++, both sunscreens can double up as a make up base or primer too! In simple terms, I can apply ORBIS Sunscreen On Face Light on weekends with no other base and still look fresh because of its natural-looking coverage.

That’s me with eye makeup and ORBIS Sunscreen On Face Light as base only! You can still see a little pores on the face but well, I only need minimal coverage on weekends! As for weekdays, use them as a primer or base anytime.





Another point to comment on is their Triple Threat Protection as the sunscreen contains Damage Block Veil that not only shields the skin from harmful UV rays, but also protects us against near infrared rays and air pollutants. Air pollutants are everywhere and that includes dirt and dust from the environment. Do you know how dirty the air is every time you cross the road? *urgh* I don’t even want to talk about the air from the car’s exhaust pipe.

With these protection found in the sunscreens, it can protect our skin from the three major damages which we are constantly exposed to.

Review: Astique Clinic Cheek Fillers to fight tired looking face!

Ageing takes place every single day.

Do you feel your cheeks are sagging as you age? How about those apple cheeks, are they still prominent?
If you haven’t felt the difference, take a look at your photos from 5-6 years ago.

James felt that his cheeks were sagging and were also not as full as before. True enough, he does get a lot of comments like “Why do you look so tired?” or “Are you very busy lately?”

Do you know that sunken cheeks can make one look tired and dull even though he or she may have had enough sleep every day?

Take a look at his selfie below. Can you tell that he is actually quite tired looking?





He may still have fat cheeks (as described by some of his friends) but look at the areas under his eyes. They are quite “empty”..

So one fine day, on our casual date, he said “Hey B, I think I am going to get some cheek fillers done at Astique”. LOL. It was not just some casual remark. He made the appointment later.

Seeing how cheek fillers can make one look younger (more youthful), I was tempted to give it a try too.

It was in fact, a very fast process. You can get 6 months to a year of youthfulness in less than half an hour!
1. Cleansing of face (5 minutes)
2. Numbing cream (20 minutes)
3. Fillers injection to both cheeks (5 minutes)

Only 2-3 injections were done to each side. I prefer fillers to plastic surgery because I can control how full I want the cheeks to be. More importantly, I do not have to go under the knife and endure the downtime to look young. You will need weeks to recover after a plastic surgery but for cheek fillers, there is absolutely no down time! You can even put on make up right after the treatment.

It will look as though we just had some natural-looking enhancement done.





James had a flatter surface under the eyes but Dr. Celine advised him not to inject too much at one go just in case the fillers caused water retention.

Well, he will have the option to inject more after the fillers have settled down 2 weeks later. We would rather take baby steps than to make a huge but wrong move.





Some people may suffer from slight bruising around the cheek areas but we had none. Perhaps only the needle prick but it went off after a few hours.
The results were instant and so far so good for us. He is obviously very very satisfied with the results as he is no longer tired looking! As for me, I wouldn’t say no to a fuller-looking face. Can I be your Korean-looking girlfriend? Haha.

The results may differ from individuals to individuals. The fillers may only last for 6-9 months and for some others, up to 2 years depending on the type of filler used.
Check out how we look right now, obviously better and younger! Hehe.

The new generation of TR80 from Casio will BLOW you away for sure! These selfie-oriented compact digital cameras never fail to meet a girls expectation.

As you can see, it is available in three colours – White, Pink and Black. My personal favourite is black because one can never go wrong with Black & Gold!





This time round, not only are there additional functions, you can find glitters around the lens too!





As an owner of TR60 and TR70, I must say that TR80 impresses me the most. Of course, how can one go wrong with a newer generation right?

The LED Screen display is 3.5-inch now. I also love the new functions that can’t be found in the older models. I don’t even have to shape my jaw in MeiTuXiuXiu anymore!! Just kidding! I don’t! Lol.

If you visit the make-up mode page, you will realise that other than the Smooth Skin effect, you can find other effects like Dark Circles Remover, Slim Face, Face Brightness and Sculpt. Keep your contouring and shading tools at home. You don’t have to touch up before you take a selfie/wefie outside with Casio TR80.

The camera also automatically detects and adjusts skin quality regardless of the amount of makeup worn, producing glowing selfies while retaining beauty naturally.








Once you are done with your settings, you can save it so that the next time you on the camera, you don’t have to adjust the settings again!





A girl can take at least 30 selfies before they find the right one to upload. With that, TR80 allows you to compare your pictures against each other. You don’t have to swipe left to right and back to left again to compare anymore.  Thank god for the split-screen display.





Notice the heart icon in the picture above? You can favourite your photo and retrieve them through the favourites tagging function when you need them.

The double LED light also allows you tot ale a beautifully illuminated complexion selfie in a dark setting – be it in a dark cafe, bar or party. Try taking it with a smart phone and TR80. They are different. TR80 will never give you the grainy effect.

Some similar functions that can also be found in the previous generations are personalising your selfies with Selfie Art, Bluetooth Smart and EXILIM Auto Transfer.

The Auto Transfer function is something I can’t live without because life can never be the same again when you can upload your photos taken via a camera straight. Photos taken via my current smartphone can’t be compared to TR80. No, I am pretty sure about that… At least not for mine.

Here is one selfie taken with TR80 itself! It was already 6pm when I took this photo. My makeup smudged from an entire day of work and errands ran but I still look fresh in the photo! My chin is obviously slimmer too LOL!

REVIEW: Fractional CO2 Laser @ ASTIQUE Clinic

For this post, I will be sharing my review of Fractional CO2 laser offered by the ASTIQUE Clinic, which is also my regular aesthetic clinic.

In recent years, Fractional CO2 lasers are getting increasingly popular as the mainstay treatment to Acne scarring, improving wrinkles, discolouration as well as pore tightening. The reason is simply because it has clinically proven to be effective when performed by an experienced, certified doctor!

The reason for me resorting to this treatment was because of my large pores concern & residual ice pick scars from my battle with acne during my adolescence. My skin type falls under combination but it tends to get excessively oily under the hot humid climate of Singapore. That set stage for my acne issues during adolescence.

The certified doctor who performed my Laser treatment was none other than Dr Celine Leong who also does my Botox injections.

The process started with a diagnosis of my skin condition. As usual, Dr Celine was very patient throughout the whole diagnosis process; intently listening to my concerns. She even took time to explain the benefits as well as the complications eg downtime. All in all, she never fails to give that sense of assurance that you are in good hands; this is also the key reason why I am happy to follow up with her all these while!





Next, numbing cream was applied generously onto my skin approximately half an hour before the laser treatment.





Below is a visual proof that they were INDEED very generous with the numbing cream to ensure I do not undergo any form of discomfort during the actual laser treatment!

After approximately half an hour, the cream was removed.





You will start to appreciate the effect of the numbing cream upon the start of the laser treatment!

In short, Carbon Dioxide laser emit short burst of high-energy laser that vapourizes the scarred tissue layer by layer. Technically, your skin is being ‘burnt’!

Thanks to the numbing cream, my experience with the procedure was almost painless!





At the end of the procedure, my skin appeared mildly red but it is absolutely normal for post procedure. The downtime ranged from 3-5 days subsequently with minute gritted scabs & slight redness. By end of Day 5, all the scabs have more or less fallen off, leaving behind a smoother skin with smaller pores!

As this is only my first laser treatment session with them, the effect is not significant enough to totally alleviate all my ice pick scars. It is common for patients to undergo at least 2-4 treatment to see good visual improvement.

To attain that significant improvement, I am definitely looking forward to my next laser CO2 treatment with Dr Celine!
