Just a few days before Chinese New Year, I went to make an appointment for teeth whitening at La Vie Aesthetics located at 277 Orchard Road, #04-08 Orchard Gateway, 238858. I really really love the results as my teeth got 6 shades whiter after a single session of 2x LED Light Whitening within 30 minutes. Let me share with you what the treatment consists of. Firstly, a consultation will be done with you in a room. That is to explain to you what they will be doing for you and at the same time, check on the shade of your teeth. Mine was shade 20 and to my surprise, I thought that shade 20 was pretty white already but I can’t help feeling that my teeth are super yellow from my daily coffee consumption. I can never live without coffee!!
When I was brought into the treatment room, I was told to brush my teeth and the beautician double confirmed my current teeth shade before beginning the treatment.
They were very thoughtful. As the LED was very bright, they gave me a pair of eyewear to wear just incase I can’t sleep and wanted to keep my eyes open because they know I would be scrolling the phone for sure. Lol.
They even have gum protection. A layer of blue fluid will be placed around the gum areas and then left to harden for 15-30 seconds like the picture below. This is to ensure that the whitening gel do not touch your gums. Disclaimer: The picture below is not me!
After the protector was harden, whitening gel was placed onto my teeth and I was under the LED light for 15 minutes. There is a total of 2 episodes. So after the first 15 minutes, they will clean the gel off and replace it with another round of new gel. The gel do not contain any bleaching agents and did not cause any sensitivity issue for me.
The entire session took less than 1 hour. And after that 1 hour, my teeth actually got 6 shades whiter!! Actually the teeth is not as yellow as seen in the picture below. I think the lighting played a part in making them look yellowish. Anyway, just take a look at the comparison!! My teeth is so much whiter now!

Clear Skin Always With D’Skin

Having good skin is important no matter if you͛re male or female. Be it heading for job interviews, weddings or important functions to attend, a good first impression starts with a supple, glowing face to front. During the extractions, soft breath of steam breezes onto the face, softening the skin and pores to minimise the harshness during the process. It is best to leave the extractions to the professionals because, if we do it ourselves, it might cause inflammation and worse, really bad inflamed scars.
Moving on from the extractions, the therapist used an equipment to sanitize the face, zapping away all the bacteria and germs. She mentioned that it might hurt abit but I didn͛t feel any pain in the process. Once the face was completely ͚germ-free͛, a layer of hydration gel mask was applied, followed by a layer of netting and finally a delicious smelling oat mask that strangely makes me hungry. While the picture above looked quite comical, the cool tinkling sensation, plus the neck and shoulder massage made me feel like a million bucks.
Overall, I felt that the therapists here are very professional, customer-oriented and knowledgeable on their work. After all, D͛skin has been in Singapore for over a decade, further proving its reputation and professionalism in the saturated skincare industry. The Face Shop Sent Us To Seoul!
I am no stranger to Seoul as this was my third visit to Seoul and my second visit was less than half a year ago. However, this was my first Winter experience. I have been to places like London and Newcastle and they were cold, but not as cold as minus 12 degree celsius!! Other than leaving my gloves and Heattech socks out, I must say that I was well equipped for this trip with 3 coats in my luggage. Lol!

My purpose for visiting Seoul again this year was for The Face Shop! The Face Shop (TFS) was my first K-Beauty brand during my younger days as they were one of the first to enter Singapore. So TFS Singapore, thank you for flying me all the way to Seoul, putting us up in a five star hotel and arranging all the activities for us!
Day 1 was free and easy. After touching down, we were greeted by two good-looking oppas. LOL. Day 2 was a little pack but enjoyable because we get to try out all the new launches and even customize our own eyeshadow palette! We also managed to visit TFS in COEXMALL and did a quick shopping at Express Bus Terminal!
My customized palette are mostly coral shades because I really love peaches & coral tones.

Day 3 was all about the SNOW AND SKI FOR MEEEEE! I have yet to see snow before so this was my first. I was told that the snow at the resort were all man-made but it’s okay, we managed to catch some snow falling from the sky right outside DongDaeMun at night! Hehe. This marks my first ever snow experience!
The highlight for the entire trip was probably learning how to ski for me! I fell really really hard a few times that left me limping for 8 days after I was back in Singapore but it was all worth it because it was SUPER FUN! I know how to ice skate and roller blade well so I thought they were the same but who knows, it was so hard to balance on the slope! Luckily for Kristin and I, we had Yina to guide us along. Lol.
The guys from TFS Headquarters were equally fun as well. We skied together for quite a bit! Haha.
Even though it was a very short trip, I am so glad I came as I got to know the brand a little deeper and I really do enjoy the company of Yina, Jamie and Kristin! Once again, Thank you TFS Singapore for flying us over for the wonderful experience!!! 🙂

REVIEW: Tokyo Bust Express – Free Detox Beauty Program
If you think people like who, who are not exactly busty have no issues with our bust (except being small), then you are so wrong. I knew exactly what the problems were so I went to Tokyo Bust Express to seek treatment.

I went to the outlet at Novena Square 2 and boy, it was so conveniently located next to the MRT station! I was so so worried about getting lost initially.
You will not miss the welcoming pink when you walk past them. And when I entered the parlor, I was greeted by a group of happy ladies! There is absolutely nothing to feel shy about because all of them were pretty smiley and friendly.
Prior to the treatment, I had a consultation of 20 minutes. I shared my concerns with my therapist and true enough – I knew my bust was a little saggy. What I didn’t know was that my bust was also pretty distant. The therapist told me that it could be due to my lack of knowledge during puberty. Like I did not get the right bra or I wore them too loose 🙁
So make sure you are wearing the right bra, or buy your daughter(s) the right one. Please do not save on bras! Thankfully, she told me that I was not hopeless. Lol. There are treatments to help bring the bust back to the correct shape and place. Instead of focusing on enhancing the bust size, I went for firming instead. She also explained to me the ingredients used for the treatment and that surely put me at ease.
The first thing that came to my mind when I was the room was “ahhhh, time to enjoy and sleep” and I was right. I fell asleep for a good 20 minutes.
We started the treatment with a scrub and hand massage, followed by a machine which sends micro-electric currents onto the bust. The currents are pretty light and there was absolutely NO pain at all. They felt more like a massager instead. It can help in the absorption of all the nutrients that was applied before that.
The massage also can help “push” my boobs inwards to help them get back to the correct place. If you are rather busty and the boobs are not at the right place, they can help you with that can who knows, you may have a deeper cleavage! Hehe.

It is pretty obvious that I am pretty satisfied with the results because I feel slightly bustier with the boobs in the right place. Of course, I would need maintenance to keep them in place.
