EHA Skincare

Spent the last Friday night hanging out with MFP and the rest of the beauty bloggers you see in the picture below.

It was the launch of EHA Skincare stand alone store located at Shaw Centre.

Address: 1 Scotts Road, Shaw Centre #03-28 Singapore 228208

EHA skincare line are made in Japan and the products are formulated specially for Asians due to the humidity and sensitivity of our skin. The friendly staffs there brought us through the range they carry and explained to use which products might be suitable for our skin. People with sensitive or congested skin can also use them.

For me, they recommended me the EHA Moisturizing Gel and EHA Sunshield 24 hr.

For James, they recommended him the EHA Gentle Exfoliating Gel and Acne Clear.

Let me bring you through some of the products:

First up, the EHA Moisturizing Gel ($88). This product is amazing! It appears to be gel at first and as you tap it, water droplets will start to form. The texture is very watery and non-greasy. Apply it before your foundation and the application of the foundation will seemingly be smoother and last longer.

Evening Primrose extract was also added in for anti-oxidant and whitening effect, seaweed extract for moisturizing and whitening, plant collagen and protein for deep hydrating and anti-aging effects. Basically, it is an all rounder. It takes care of all your skin concern.

Next up is my FAVOURITE. I tried this with James and we loved it. Our skin looked brighter and felt cleaner instantly. This is none other than the Gentle Exfoliating Gel ($68). It is said to reduce pigmentation and skin discoloration and it can maximize your skin’s ability to absorb the other nutrients that comes along. Basically a good prep for your skin.

I love how it gets rid of old keratin, dead cells while keeping the skin fresh and clean. Evening Primose oil was also added into the gel.

The staff thought James had oily skin and some parts of his face looked like acnes are going to pop up as it was red that night. But the guy had dry skin as well. So dry that they peel quite often so we were quite afraid of Acne Clear drying up his skin further.

All the staff there recommended this! Their popular EHA Sunshield 24hr ($98) because many of the sunscreens sold in the market today make use of chemical filters to block out the harmful rays and they are only effective in blocking some of the rays. But EHA Sunshield 24hr is said to be able to block more rays by 99% for a period of 24 hours with just one application :O

The ingredient also prevents spot generation and keep the skin cool and resistant against sunburn. The sunshield is so safe even small children can also use it.

Other products they carry are EHA Whitening Eye Cream, EHA Restore (for anti-aging properties) and more. You can also find other popular brands like Bioderma there as well.

I found a picture of myself with Xinyi but I missed out taking pictures of my dear sugar using my camera! :(((((

Anyway, I am avoiding all pictures until my eye recover from the eye infection πŸ™

We enjoyed the catch up and the walk through nonetheless. Remember, EHA Skincare is only exclusively available at Shaw Centre! πŸ™‚

Sneak and peek at Heineken!

Leaving for Taiwan for my sister’s trip in less than 10 days time. What I hate about going overseas is that I have to reject all the events during the trip!! Sigh, there are already quite a handful of them coming up πŸ™ Lucky J will be helping me with some when I am away. There will be a men’s event as well, hope he benefits from it! Hehe.

Last Friday, William brought us to Heineken’s party. We traveled to the future there. J looked so cute in the pictures from that night. BAHAHAHA. To make him even cuter, I forced him to buy some coloured lenses (that I am currently wearing ow) from our JB trip yesterday. I seriously think that we look even similar now. My JB trip will be up in the next entry.

Even in group photo, we are still in our own fantasy world.

Had to leave early because I had work the next day. Though short, but great catch up with the big boys.

Next entry will be up very very soon!

Me on 3 by Mediacorp

I know I am probably the least sporty person you know but hey,

I am involved with Mediacorp’s MEon3 The ULTIMATE Streetball Challenge!

*Cheer* Cheer* Cheer*

I didn’t know we have SO MANY sporty people in Singapore.

Do you know that there were more than 200 teams who registered for this competition?!

The registration is now close and that meansssssss, the competition is starting soon!

I went for the pre-event which was held at Anglican High School with 2 local celebrities,Β Lee Qiao Er and Jeffrey Xu together with another 2 bloggers, Smith and Mint!

Both celebrities signed up to be part of the campaign voluntarily. From this, I could feel their love for sports!

Tadah, meet Smith and Mint. Both of them are so bubblyyyy!

I feel very comfortable with them, especially Mint!

Schools from the east were invited and present for the pre-event basketball clinic as well.

Needless to say, it’s a match between the coaches from Singapore Slingers VS the students.

*Drum rolls*

While the battle was ongoing, Us, celebrities/bloggers were sitting and cheering.

After the guys are done. It’s time for the girls. A school teacher was also invited to join us for a shoot.

Yes, all we had to do was to shoot the ball.

Boy! It sure requires more than just skills. I think I could only get 2 out of 10 balls into the loop πŸ™

Qiao Er, Mint, me and the teacher (with absolutely no bball background VS another 4 students with bball background.

Spot my mistake? I didn’t bend my legs.

BUT WE WON! MUAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA. It was a close right!!

Next up was the celebrities/bloggers VS students.

We were sad because most of the students who were present said that we would lose. HAHAHAHA.

Surprisingly, WE WON AGAIN. Lucky us! lol.

The actual challenges from the 200+ teams will be taking place on the 15th and 16th of June 2013 (Saturday and Sunday) from 10.30am to 6pm at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza.

There will be lots of celebrities there. So do go down and give them a cheer! πŸ™‚

Hope to see you guys there!

Cadbury’s Most Marvellous Bloggers’ Party

This is definitely one of the BEST events so far and I am very enthusiastic to share with you guys!

On 6th April 2013, I boarded Joyville (the official Cadbury bus) to an extremely marvellous place.Β Not just the whole exterior, the whole interior was extremely cute too.

You can also charter Cadbury’s Joyville bus by simply spending S$20 on Cadbury.Β
For more information, please visit joyrider.sg or give +65 62328515 a ring!

I think it was specially designed in such a way where you can no longer feel blues in the bus.

Chocolate brings smile and Cadbury brings joy! When we went up, we could see cute and colorful props on the seats. On top of that, we were given the “boarding ticket”. HOW CUTEEE!!

We didn’t had to wait for the crews to tell us to put on the props. We automatically put it on and starting snapping away.

The purple ticket Meryl was holding in her hand was the “boarding pass”.

On the way to the venue, we also participated in the best tweet competition where 3 best tweets would be selected and rewarded with the hashtags #joyridersg #cadburysg.

A similar picture from below was used with the caption:

“Heading to somewhere marvellous with Joyville! #cadburysg #joyridersg http://instagram.com/p/XwT3TojEJu/”

Miss Fruit Top was giving out chocolates to all the blogger onboard and we were screaming like little kids. How carefree. I feel like a kid all over and kids are happy people.

“Now, hand over all your chocolates. Make me a happy pirate. I can be the pirate of Jelly Beans for your Marvellous Creations.”

Reached our destination and more fun begins! The whole place was booked for the event.

Local music band “After hours” were there to play good music too. And not forgetting the marvellous magicians too!

Still very joyful.

What attracted me first was this blind tasting booth. I DAMN SMART HOR I TELL YOU.

Being a Cadbury fan, I can differentiate them VERY well. Hehehe. I didn’t get any wrong and I was so proud of myself I tell you.

The prize was an EXTREMELY *SCREAMS* CUTE Cadbury 2GB thumbdrive.

That’s Ying Jie tasting the chocolates. We have to get all 3 chocolates right in order to win the thumbdrive.

My turn. Peanuts, peanuts peanuts. I am not called a Cadbury Fan for nothing!! I won a thumbdrive for myself and people started asking me for help because they wanted the thumbdrive as well but couldn’t get it right. I won too many times to the extent that the lady had to ask me to eat 3 flavours at 1 go (mouth). So sad! I could only win 1 for myself. The rest were for the other bloggers there.

SO FUN!!!! WHY I SO PROUD AND THICK SKIN! Hahahaha.

Indeed. A marvellous journey to joy. The chocolates there were free flow. We were told to grab whatever we want home. Of course, I brought so many home that I was so scared that my bag would snap. Hahahaha. I really really like them. I always buy them from NTUC whenever I visit them.

I also won more chocolates for one of the best tweets! YAY~~~~~

So the Marvellous Creations comes in 3 different flavors.

Yellow: Jelly Crunchy Bits
Pink: Jelly Popping Candy Beanies
Green: Peanut Toffee Cookie

All come them come in small bars too except the Peanut Toffee Cookie.

My favourite is Jelly Popping Candy Beanies because I love jelly beans and the popping candy makes it fun to chew!

Yay! Meet the 3 Marvellous ambassadors. Brad Lau, Beatrice Tan and Maureen Ow!!

They had a pinata to hit each with their respective flavors. Brad and Beatrice managed to break it within 2-3 hits but Maureen needed more hits. LOL so cute!!

Almost there~~~~~~~~~ Eat more chocolates!!!!

Each box had a hidden chocolate bar with a sticker. And that’s the golden ticket to the night safari.

Total 3 boxes and YAY!!!! I managed to find the sticker after quite some time of digging!!!

It was quite a free and easy event so everyone was busying acting cute, being happy, trying out chocolates AND TAKING PHOTOS.

So cute!! But I was photobombed. Hahahaha.

We had a really fun time taking instant prints at the Photo Booth! And I had a lot of stupid faces. LOL. The most epic one is below. HAHAHAHA. I can’t believe that this face is going to be found in Facebook πŸ™

I was too happy and lively that I lost myself. I got drunk in chocolates. I came up with caption for each photo.

“Oh my god?! Really? Cadbury? GIVE ME, GIVE ME MORE, GIVE ME MORE!”

“oh so shyyyy. I tried to sing Britney’s song”

“How about the chocolates singing “I believe I can fly~~~ right before I get digesteddd~~”

“If I can’t eat it, I’ll still lick it like a chocolate hotcream”

“But just by licking is not enough!!!”

“Nevertheless, chocolate has this special power to make one happy, so let’s spread the joy shall we?”

“Okay lah, come I give you a hug and more cadbury later.”

Time to stop fooling around and act all decent again LOL.

Here’s a picture with the pretty Beatrice!

With Uncle Joy and Brad!

Mehmeh, feeling all happy like a little girl.

It was time to bid goodbye (AAAWWWW) but I really like the idea of taking the joyville again πŸ˜€

Look at the smiles on our faces, it just goes to show how successful the whole event was!!

I am sure that you will love Joyville as much as me too!
