The Royal Mail
The Royal Mail Restaurant & Bar is housed within the culturally rich Ascott Raffles Place and serves modern interpretations of Classic British Cuisine where Roasts and Prime Rib take centre stage. Drawing inspiration from the cuisine of Singapore’s colonial masters Group Executive Chef Micail Chepi and his team have introducted new starters, mains, roast, sides and desserts which are an impeccable combination of classics with a modern twist. Highlights of the cuisine includes: Kurobuta Pork Chop with Apple Sauce, Lamb Fore Shank, Roasted Deboned Fish and Chestnuts & Grapes. . . We often have the preception that fine dining is expensive and small in portion. To be honest, fine dining…

Vainpot’s favourites
I can’t help but feel like a vain pot recently. Not as if I wasn’t one in the past, but at least not this extreme. I have been diligently trying out the different makeup products that were sent to me for reviews/ bought from stores and I am seriously quite crazy over lip crayons!! The Revlon lip crayons were so good! I like the packaging and the colours. The application was very smooth as well. The downside is that you have to lightly apply it after a meal for the colour to look even more vibrant (which is quite common for other lipstains as well). Note: I wasn’t paid to…

Girls just wanna have fun – L’Oreal Professionnel
The bloggers gathered at Avalon for L’Oreal Professionnel IT Girls! Fashion accessory is no longer just eyewear, necklaces or earrings. Your hair colour can be a bold fashion statement as well. I love trying out different colours on the hair but I don’t want them to stay on me permanently. Neither am I willing to bleach. And this is why hair chalk is of a better option. Switching up your hair colour every other day according to your mood and personality is now possible with this creative innovation. 3 local celebrities were also present there to showcase their IT look. I love Kyla Tan’s hair and colour – Mocha Blonde…

My Ramen Diary
I am a fan of ramen and I haven’t been to Japan before to try out all the authentic ramen restaurants there. Have been ramen hunting for the last few weeks and I think I have just found my favourite ramen place! My initial favourite ramen place was Keisuke Tonkotsu King at Orchid Hotel and Men-i-chi ramen which is easily available at Nex, Jurong Point or Yishun. I have two more favorites added to my list. I chanced upon Bari Uma Ramen by accident and decided to give it a try since it was raining and there was nowhere I could go without an umbrella. I had Ajitama-Uma for $15.…

Fernanda X Beauty Direct
*** There is a giveaway at the end of this post! *** A lot of beauty products are easily available in Korea and Japan but not easily available in Singapore. This is why online shopping is the IN-thing now. I browsed through beautydirect.com.sg and selected a few items for review. One of the brands which caught my attention was Fernanda! Fernanda is a Japanese brand that has body mist, hair fragrance, body scrub, hair oil and so much so much all! Check out all the beautiful packaging and they are all in floral scent! My choice was obviously the Pink Euphoria – Bergamot, Raspberry, Apple. Only the hair fragrance oil…

My life as a blogger
I may not have blogged for the longest time but I have gained quite a bit of experience through working with different people. I have worked with a lot of PR agencies and met a lot of bloggers in real life. Throughout the two years, I have also met quite a few whom I can call them as friends. Blogging never really started until I joined My Fat Pocket. It enables me to explore deeper into the blogosphere and opens me up to the world. I started off as a lifestyle blogger and was hoping to become a beauty blogger one day. It didn’t take long because MFP is a…

Collection Cosmetics’ Bright and Glow
My previous entry of not using foundation isn’t a lie. I may not have stopped applying it for consecutively 7 days, but almost 2 weeks have passed and I think I only had foundation on for 3 days out of that 10-11 days? I also took the opportunity to explore more BB/CC cream/cushion. One of the many was the latest Collection Cosmetics’ Bright and Glow BB Cream. The range also comes with a compact powder. You can now restore your radiance with brighter, luminous skin from Collection! The candy/cakes/pastries served during the looked too good that I actually sinned. Talk about dieting. I FAILED SO BADLY. Alright, back to the…

Your eyes tell a thousand stories
Just finish shooting for a blogshop yesterday and I think I found my favourite pair of eye lashes yesterday. I ran out of my usual black eyeliner which I had always used and my old pair of eye lashes which I always wear for events/shoot died on me after more than 20 uses. And this is also the time where I open up new make up products which I had previously received from the previous events/ parcels to try. This post, is totally not an advert but a honest review of my current favorites. I have brown hair, so generally, I would draw my brows brown as well. Most korean…

L’Oreal Paris latest hair innovations
Last year, I was featured in Juice Magazine (July) for L’Oreal Paris EverStrong. And this year, they have come up with EveryStrong Thickening range as well as the new Extraordinary Oil + UV Protect! We all know that hair ends are often drier and dull looking as compared to the upper part of the hair. However, do you know that our scalp also requires the same attention that you give to your hair ends? — I’ve been using the thickening range for the second week now. I was quite skeptical of the word thickening because there are a lot of shampoo which you can find in the market, but priced…
