Food Junction
Coffee shops or hawkers have a very big role in our lives. We spend more meals there than visit the restaurants in our daily lives. Good and cheap food are not hard to find. All you have to do is to open your ears, listen to the raves and try it out yourself. Have you also realized that the Food Junction at Bugis function is now Tast Junction? The new Food Junction has also adopted the concept of an art market, endeavouring to be the first food hub that promotes good food, comfort and the appreciation of art in perfect unison. They serve nostalgic yet popular signature like traditional brown toasts…

When I feel fat, I run
I think I might be hittiing 47kg soon. I used to be 40 – 42kg only. Haven’t been running for the longest time so I couldn’t even find my running shoes. Been shopping around for a pair but I can’t find any decent looking ones. I can be quite fussy when it comes to shoes. Hahaha. If you ask me, I would rather gym than to run but I have yet to find a gym companion or a place to gym. Right now, my companion is none other than my Mr “Colleague” after work. Heh. If you have been reading me for years, you would know that I love to…

Nose fillers top up
Time seems to fly faster when you’re enjoying all the good stuffs. The good stuffs that I am saying here is none other than my botox and fillers. I did my first chin & nose fillers in Oct. And it is almost 8 months now. The bridge of the nose is much lower now. Almost back to the original height. Here I am, back at Halley Medical Aesthetics Clinic at 248 River Valley Road with Dr Tan!! I am using Radiesse this time round. And Dr Tan prefers to inject Radiesse on my nose bridge as well. Nose fillers can be used to contour and shape the nose without the…

Magnumificent 25th Birthday!
MAGNUM just celebrated its 25th birthday at Avalon last Friday night! It was one of the best TGIF for me! We were warming cooly treated to a night of chocolate decadence and fashion highlights as well as the much-anticipated announcement of the return of the MAGNUM Singapore Pleasure Store!! The grand entrance, the free flow of Magnum, Canapés and alcohol made me felt like I was a celebrity! They sure know how to pamper their guest well! It was also one of the first time where I was willing to stay till 12 midnight for an event. Was there with the duo (HP and William), James, TC and myself. The…

Etude House Cocktail Party
Woooo~ Who haven’t heard of Etude House? And which princess doesn’t like Etude House? Despite partying at another event the night before, I told myself that I have to wake up for the Etude House Magic Any Cushion Cocktail Party which would take place at 10am! Trust me! I was soooo glad to be there because I learnt quite a few stuffs from the demonstrations. Of course, not forgetting my pretty lady XinYi! So happy to see all of them! I am a sucker for lip colours so I went to explore the lip products before the demonstrations. They sure have a HUGEEEEEEE range for lips!! I swear I am…

Let’s tone down!
Not much people realized that I dyed my hair 2 days ago. Not even the people whom I see almost everyday. One of them could tell that I did something to my hair but just couldn’t tell what was it. That was because I met an amazing hairstylist at Vintage Studio (West Gate Branch)! I told him that my current hair colour lightened a lot because the last dye was 6 months ago and it was just continuously the retouching of the roots only. My previous colour was more to the copper brown tone. I wanted the ash tone brown but I don’t want to bleach my hair due to sensitive…

Bioderma Cleansing Water
I haven’t tried Bioderma Cleansing Water before even though bloggers were always singing praises of them. That is because I usually try whatever is sent to me and would only buy my own cleansing water/milk when I run out of them. Having said that, I have already tried numerous brands and Bioderma is now one of my favorites! Let us begin by wearing a hairband for the cleansing to take place… Below are my takes on the different types of cleansing water: Bioderma Sensibio H2O is also voted Best Beauty Buys Women’s Weekly 2013 winner. The cleansing water is free of soap, alcohol and fragrance. They have pioneered micellar solutions specially…

Like a treasure chest
I was so worn out from work recently that I can fall asleep right after dinner at 7pm. Yes, all the way from 7pm to the next morning. Either I sleep a lot or I get only 5-6 hours a day. Work is fun with happy people and I don’t mind working 360 days year but my body is breaking down. I am currently nursing myself cause I am down with a cold from the rain this morning 🙁 Tired body = tired face. A tired face makes one look older than her actual age and I believe that the hollow areas under the eye bags are showing signs of…
