Valentine’s Photoshoot with J

Because of blogging, I was given more opportunities and ways to spend my pre-Valentine’s with James.

We did a couple shoot with Lee Cooper apparels. They apparels are really comfy and stylish. I was quite amazed by how stretchable the jeans were. We could even roller blade and stretch in it! Airy and lightweight – What a bonus!

The pictures you see here are the more serious ones.

We had more pictures of us laughing like mad (the smiles were so huge that my mouth looked really big LOLOL), fooling around and all. The photos looked really natural. Love how Chee BP Photography managed to capture all the silly moments we had.

Lovely couple (HAHA), comfy apparels (Lee Cooper), talented photographer and the cute Phoebe made all these come true!

Fine stitches, quality clothes at good prices. We got ours at Orchard Gateway Shopping Centre #02-17A 🙂

I love this pair of mint green shoes so much that I got another color in coral.

I remember whining about not being different like coral on the left and mint on the right few months ago. Lol!

Still loving this denim jacket which is now finally mine 🙂

To everyone who made it possible, thank you. Valentine’s Day 2015, I love you!!

De-Stylez

Adding to your long list of online shop is De-Stylez.

De-Stylez was also founded recently and driven with a belief that every girl is unique. This young brand has a big dream, hoping to help every woman find the style of their own. Though new, they already have more than 70 styles for you to choose from!!

Favourite piece would be this!!

Had always felt that high neck clothes with revealing shoulders are flattering.

De-Stylez has kindly sent me this Sabrina Colour Contrast Romper in Turquoise
(also available in Coral).
I like rompers because they have this ability to create a look that is neither too formal yet not too casual.
This romper also elongates the leg because of the shorts which only ends at the upper thigh area.

For me,  I would definitely wear this romper out for shoppings or movies (probably top it off with a cardigan).
Also, due to the nature of the colour, it gives off a slightly summer feel, which is, yes, SINGAPORE.
365 days of summer.

Tadah. Ready to head out with only a longchamp back.
Don’t even have to think of what top/pants to with it.

Coral.

This is also one of my favourite piece. Love pastel/light colours clothings.

Juliet Bow Tie Lo-Back Dress in Light Yellow.
I really had a hard time deciding on the colour for this dress because they had Sky Blue, Apricot and Pink as well. Yes, all the cute colours.
De-Stylez is really honest with the clothes they sell because they specifically mentioned that “Light yellow may appear sheer under strong lights, nude undergarments advised” in the page

Not all online shops do that, they would probably just keep mum about it.

Suitable for a picnic! Pssst, the catch is at the back!

I couldn’t help but match this dress with various sweet bags that I could find on my shelves.

And again, for a less sweet look, go for black bags!!

This dress is also extremely comfy because it is made of stretchy polyester and lightweight.

Now, for the back!
TOO SWEET! I know you want it!

They have simply too many different styles that you might like and which is just what you are looking for. Head over and give your wardrobe some new food maybe? 🙂

My new hair sponsor – Salon B

Here I have with me is my new hair sponsor – Salon B.

Salon B is a Korean Salon based in Singapore. Most of their hair stylists are koreans.

What probably caught my attention when I first stepped in was the design and layout of the salon because it looks cosy and posh.

My favourite item in the salon. THIS! Can someone buy this home for me?!?!?!

My purpose there was to do a volume rebonding and some trimming. I had wanted to colour my hair as well but had decided to just do one chemical treatment on it first, let it rest for a month, and color it during the next visit 🙂

We have been to salons for haircuts countless of times. But this is the first time that I was given an eye guard to protect the eyes so that no chemicals or hair would come in-contact with my eyes or skin.

I felt pampered and well taken care of.

Washed, Blowed dry and then cream + heat for 20 minutes.

I couldn’t feel much different at first as it was not my first time doing rebonding until…….

Until the two assistants came over to dry my hair and the director came back to me.

She told me to touch my hair and feel the difference. She haven’t even brush or comb the hair yet but it was already super smooth. I swear!! And then, I began to realize what makes this salon stands out more!

I went on to ask her what cream and brand was that but I think she replied me in Korean. So I assumed that it was a Korean brand. But I’ll ask her again during my second visit later this month.

After drying the hair, the director went on to straighten the whole head of hair before applying the second cream to stabilize the hair. It was then washed off after 15 – 20 minutes or so.

I realized that the salon carries Wella products as well. 🙂

As I had ugly shoulder length hair (due to the previous sponsor who suggested me to cut my hair short and I couldn’t stand the growing process as the hair was ALWAYS in a mess during the growing phase), it was very hard to maintain so I could only tie up my hair everywhere I go, which is also why you don’t see much photos of me with my hair let down.

But now, I am confident of letting the hair down as they look shiny and smooth. I don’t even have to brush my hair after shower/ when I wake up in the morning as they are never messy and never tangled.

I can’t tell or explain how pleased I am with my hair right now. Seriously, I could only have dry and thin hair.

Look at the picture below with my holding my hair ends. Smooth aren’t they?

I would really like to thank Salon B from the bottom of my heart for all the good hair days that I am waking up to!!!

With Salon B, it’s hard to even have a bad hair day.

Other than that, they also offer make up services by the Christina Wong who also does make up for celebrities from Mediacorp.

Salon B is located at 1 Nassim Road #02-03 Singapore 258458.

As they are always packed and busy, please call them at 6836 5855 to make an appointment 🙂

Ulzzang Make Up Workshop With Miyake

Get ready for a MEGA ULZZANG EVENT at Jurong Point Shopping Centre
on the 1st of June!

Celebrity Beauty Blogger Miyake will be doing a “live” Ulzzang Make-up tutorial!

I was one of the lucky blogger to be invited for the private workshop so yay! New skills!

I really really like Miyake’s makeup, not overly done but still look damn pretty at any angle.

Had the chance to take a picture with the veryyyy pretttty her.

I know I know, Tired face, heavy eyebags and dark circles and it’s all thanks to the exams 🙁

She taught us her Ulzzang make up skills with the make up products sponsored by The Face Shop.
This tutorial session really taught me quite a bit about make ups.

Like applying eyeshadow at the different eye areas for different effect.
I have always had difficulty drawing the Ulzzang brows because they have to thick and equal but Miyake told me “Your brows are sisters, they are not twins. So it’s okay!”
True that! 😀

After the whole session,
She picked me as the ‘winner’ for the make up (hehehe) so I had extra goodies (Chia Seed Special Set) from the private workshop other than the CC Cream.Thank you thank you!! 😀

This workshop is also open to public on the 1st of June, Saturday at 4pm.

Venue: Jurong Point 1, Oasis Lounge #02-41.

You can register here and registration is free!

Participants will each receive a goodie bag from TheFaceShop (worth S$35.80)
Registration is open till 29 May 2013 or when the slots are full (either one comes first).

Levi’s 501 Interpretation at Ion Orchard

This Spring/Summer 2013 marks Levi’s 140th anniversary of its iconic 501 jeans by introducing a non-denim Levi’s 501 collection for the first time.

Breaking with tradition, yet maintaining the product’s true essence and timeless spirit, the 3 piece non-denim collection is available in true chino, chalk blue and mineral red.

To celebrate it’s 140th anniversary, they held an event at Ion Orchard with 4 celebrities namely, Felicia Chin, Xu Ya Hui, Tosh Zhang and Ian Fang.

Camwhored a bit while waiting for the event to start.

They made me look so short here. Should have worn platforms instead of flats.

Having heard Ivy Tan on 933 before, but never seen her at all, she’s so stylishhhhh!!
And she was the emcee that day.

They made their appearance by doing a catwalk on the stage and Tosh, as usual, did his signature pose. Hahahaha. He look quite friendly that day (given that his signature face is always the unhappy and cool face). But I do know that the unhappy and cool face was his “style”.

After the catwalk, they had to dress their shirtless guy up in Levi’s clothes and explain the chosen style.

Felicia Chin and her style for her model.

Ian’s model.

Ya Hui’s model. She was so cute, saying how cute and handsome her model was.

She even offered to be the pole for her model’s pole dance LOL.

I didn’t manage to get a clear shot of Tosh’s model :/

But anyway, take a look at the 4 celebrities in the picture below. I like Ya Hui’s style best but Felicia Chin’s way of wearing the shirt is pretty unique, Tosh has this boy boy look and

The jeans that all of them are wearing are Levi’s 501 design. So which one do you like best?

After dressing up all their models, the audiences had the chance to vote for their favorite look and the winning model would go back with the full set of Levi’s apparels on him!

Guess who won?

It’s non other than Ya Hui’s cute dimples model! Hahahhaha.

There’s a little contest going on.

Wear a style with a pair of 501, write a short write up and upload to http://levis501.com.sg/featured-entries.html
