Sand & Sky Pink Clay – Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment / Porefining Face Mask Review

Clay beauty products always make my face feels extra clean and to be honest, I don’t use them very frequently because my skin is very dry itself and I don’t want the clay to dehydrate it further. I do love the idea of removing impurities from my skin once a month though.

Recently, I realized that not all clay products are drying because I found one that really works for me – Sand & Sky Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment and the Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask.

Out of the many beauty products that I have tried these 2 months, these 2 win hands down!

The products itself are as pink as how the packaging looks. No wonder they are both named Pink Clay.

Sand & Sky Australia Pink Clay contains a mixture of Australian Bentonite and Kaolin that are extremely good for the skin and you can see the differences in just one use.

I do not visit the facial place very often as I am always struggling with time so I do not have the luxury of spending 2 hours on a facial. Many a times, I wish that there are 48 hours a day.

My face can get a little congested at times from the lack of extraction and that includes having black and white heads. Sand & Sky Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment not only helps to exfoliate, it also acts as a treatment mask that helps to absorb oil and minimize pores size. I have enlarged pores on my cheeks and they are surprising visibly smaller after one use.

The treatment feels like a typical scrub except that it is also a treatment product as mentioned above. I use it in my shower, scrub the face in circular motions and leave it on until I am done showering. The skin feels soft and smooth to touch instantly.

After the treatment, I always end it with Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask to further hydrate my skin. The mask comes with a brush which makes the application a lot neater and easier. You can also even out the mask on your face with it.

I have long nails so I do not have to worry about them getting stuck in-between my nails and finger beds.

My first impression was that the mask felt warm upon application. I believe thats how the mask works it magic. It can help to tighten pores, detoxify, and brighten the skin.

I did not leave the mask on for too long as I have dehydrated skin. I washed it off after 5-6 minutes and the mask is surprisingly easy to wash off. You know how some clay mask can get stuck to your skin and you have to keep rinsing them to get them off? Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask doesn’t stick to your skin like them.

It is recommended to use them at least two to three times per week but I think once a week will work for me.

Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment

Both Sand & Sky Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment and the Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask are suitable for all skin types. Yes, even if you have dry skin. They contain no nasties (no sulfates, parabens or synthetic fragrance) and are cruelty-free.

Cutest pie found @ Pie Face!

Do you know where to find all these cute pies? They finally flew in from Australia to Singapore!! I was so freaking sick that day but I still went for the food tasting because I wanna take cute photos with ALL the little faces! And they have more than 80 stores around the world already!

Even the wall looked so cuteeeee.

The first outlet in Singapore is located at 313@somerset #B3-10 Singapore 238895. The second outlet should be opened by today and it is located at Bugis Village – 249 Victoria Street Singapore 188034.

Different face represents a different filling. They have Chunky Steak Pie ($5.20), Chicken & Mushroom Pie ($4.90), Thai Chicken Curry Pie ($4.90), Tandoori Vegetable Pie ($4.90) and moreeeee!

For me, the Chicken & Mushroom Pie is my favorite.

Look at my ruldoph red nose~

And my fat boy with his pies..

The coffee here is seriously underrated!! Trust a coffee lover, when she says it’s good, it’s good!! The coffee start from $4.00 and they are the perfect accompaniment to the pies and a great perk-me-up to start the mornings right.

There is an ongoing special Pie-fect deal right now. Buy any of their coffee and get any mini or sweet pie for free!

Other than the pies, J’s favorite was this cheese sausage roll which was served hot and yummmm… Each bite will lead to another portion of oozing cheese…

I love the chunky chicken bites inside the pie! (This pic was taken after J stole a mouthful of the fillings). The “gravy” is rather thick and cream so it felt like I was drinking some soup from the pie.

Beautifully baked crossiants. It is not that easy to achieve such beautiful layers.

They also have sweet pies at $3.30 each ranging from Butterscotch to Apple Crumble. I like the butterscotch one because the fillings are rather “smooth”!

Other than the pies, Pie Face also carries crumbly cookies, moist cakes and piping hot soups!

I must still emphasize on how good the coffee is. Please try them when you are there!!
