Do you feel constipated?
Yup, That’s a weird title. But frankly speaking, do you feel constipated all the time or most of the time? I do!! I am guilty of it because I don’t have enough fibre intake in my diet. This is not for all because some people with constipation actually find that it can get worst if they increase their fibre intake. I know that I am not the only one suffering from constipation because 1 out of 4 people in Singapore were affected by constipation. THAT IS 25% OF OUR POPULATION OMG. Constipation is very very common. Most of us tend to change our nutrition habits instead of taking laxatives because…

What to do at Teban Place?
I love to visit heartland malls because the food items are cheaper there!!!! James and I went to explore Teban Place – HDB Shopping Centre. There are two floors and instead of having just 1 food court – or you may call it Kopitiam, they have more than 2 eating places! I can even find my mom’s favourite herbal soup here. As you can see, this food court also stretches to the other end. Also spotted another food court right next to it with quite a few stores as well. Actually you can also find the herbal soup here. People who live in the west and love to drink soup,…

Are you truly happy?
Sometimes checking all the “right” boxes in life just doesn’t cut it. You may think you’re happy, but are you really happy? “I truly empathize with Priscilla Shunmugam’s story. Like her, I’m just trying to be happy and true to myself, although in a slightly unconventional manner. Her entrepreneurial spirit and drive to succeed where few have gone truly inspires me. I’d just like to put this out there – are you really happy with how you’re living your life? #changedestiny #areyoureallyhappy”

Reflections: Personal
With the elections over, it is my turn to whine. This, however, has no relevance to whom we voted for. I can only say I like my MP for my area. James and I applied for BTO for Clementi Crest and sadly, we did not get it. James is a grassroots leader and I thought okay, we might have some chances there. But when the results came out, I thought “okay… Try again next time”. That was okay until our Permanent Resident friend got it. My face was literally like -___________- “OH REALLY?” I hated very very much how the entire system works because the thought of us not getting…

Customise your own Nutella Bottle
Customisation seems to be a very IN thing right now. Now, you can also personalised your bottle of childhood snack! I don’t call it a chocolate spread because I prefer to eat it by itself than to spread it on bread. When I first received my personalised Nutella, I thought “Hey, this is mine and it has my name on it. And this gives me a very good reason not to share my bottle of Nutella with anyone!!” You can have your own bottle of personalised Nutella too. Each personalised bottle cost only SGD5. Find them at Bugis+ from today onwards at Level 2 (outside Uniqlo). Get an empty bottle,…

Landed safely from Bangkok
How does it feel like to be in Bangkok feeling all happy and then to realize that bombing is actually taking place? How does it feel to be there at that point of time? You all know that I went to Bangkok on the 13th and was only back on 17th and the bombing took place on the 17th. I was shocked. Too shocked for words. I was already at the airport when the incident happened. I was lucky because I was at the area in the afternoon and headed back to the hotel and off to the airport shortly after that. Immediately after I landed late at night, I…

Hirocon – Japanese Contact Lens Specialist
Sponsored Ever since my previous eye allergy, I am very fearful of trying out new lenses but thankfully, I found the right brand of lenses to use. But more often than not, I am still tempted to try out different colored contact lenses. When I first read about Hirocon, I was tempted to do an eye check there because I can get to try on the colored lenses before buying them and I love Japanese services. Hirocon takes after Japanese way of hospitality and customer service. “We are committed to providing the highest standards in eye care for our customers, and bring to the local market the same standard of…

Talking Toes – Walking with Inspirations
Sponsored I am quite sure everyone has ever been asked to “pull up their socks” by someone close to them at one point of time. The whole point? These people cares! And they just want you to be better than what you already are. But how about an encouragement from the very socks that you are wearing? Outrageous as that sound, this is exactly the gift Talking Toes would like to give to everyone out there: An encouraging whisper from their beautifully-crafted socks! I cannot emphasize how pleased and privileged we were to be invited to the Soft Launch of Talking Toes which was held @ Cream & Custard (A cosy little cafe nestled…
