Black & White: The Dawn of Justice
I love action-packed movies from Hong Kong a lot and most of them are really good.
Black & White: The Dawn of Justice (痞子英雄) is a Taiwan movie but it is as good as the action-packed movies that were produced in Hong Kong!! There are more than enough thrillers to keep you in suspense. The movie is directed by Tsai Yueh-Hsun and will be in cinemas in from 9 Oct 2014 onwards.

Attended the movie gala with J last night with the director and Mark Chao (I don’t know who is he until I googled him) present.
I had to googled for Mark Chao before watching the movie because I don’t know much about Chinese actors. But he acted really well in the show! My favorite guy however, is the guy who acted in Black Hawks for his heroic acts and Lin Genxin for his little comedy scenes.
I shall not reveal too much but it is always good for a little comedy to relax the nerves who were constantly kept in suspense on what would happen next.
Huang Bo had some touching and funny scenes in the movie as well. Not exactly touched to the extent of having tears in the eyes, but it teaches us to not take happiness for granted.
The graphics, the actions and sound effects of the movie were all good! Click below for the trailer (but I don’t think the trailer do justice to how good the movie is):
Plot (extracted from inSing.com):
Police office Wu Ying-xiong has been revered as a hero in the Harbor City ever since he stopped the terrorists on an airplane and kept the city safe. Unfortunately the peace is only temporary. Panic spreads the whole city as a series of bomb explosions happen within hours and this is just the beginning of a tight conspiracy. Wu is paired with the intelligent but arrogant loner, Chen Zhen to track down the mastermind behind the bombing incidents.
This 126 mins movie is out to blow your mind! I was honestly taken aback by how good the movie was.
I would rate this movie 4 out of 5 popcorns!
Thank you Clover Films Singapore for the invitation to the gala!
