What do you know about Braun? For me, it’s shavers and more shavers, man and more men. Finally…. they are launching more female products! I was there at Capella Hotel to witness it myself yesterday afternoon.
I thought that I was going to be all alone but I randomly asked Cheryl if she was going and hey, we were both alone! We had no idea what was going to be launched so it was all kept as a surprise.
There were actually 3 launches – Braun Face, Braun Satin Hair 7 and Braun Stain Hair 1.
I was particularly interested with Braun Face because it is the world’s first facial epilator and cleansing brush (2 in 1). It was said to be able to deliver pore-deep cleansing as well as high precision facial epilation for pure, radiant beauty. Facial hair might not be a problem for Asian ladies as we do not have much facial hair, but there are still fine hair on the face – especially between the brows and above the upper lips.
Threading is painful and waxing is a chore because it can get messy and dirty.
The Braun Face has a slim epilator head that removes almost invisible hairs and delivers precision on the eyebrows, upper lip and chin as it has 10 micro-openings. It is also 200 times faster than manual tweezers and can remove hairs four times shorter than traditional waxing. Despite being efficient, it is also gentle to the skin.
I was still joking about shaping the brows with this.
With a simple swap of heads, you can turn it into a cleansing brush. Doctors also recommended that cleansing the face with a brush is also much more effective than manual cleansing as they are able to reach in to the clogged pores. For all you know, your face might be congested with make up, dust, dirt and oil after an entire day.
I like the chic and handy design as I can bring it around for staycations or travels. Before I forget, it is waterproof too!
