Cafe Hunting – Chock full of beans

This is not a sponsored/review post. This is one of the many dates of J and I.

We drove over to Chock full of beans for a light brunch before attending a friend’s birthday party because I have long heard of the cute coffees there!

True enough, we were served cute coffees!! We did not request for any design or cartoon.

They gave me a blue ribbon kitty while J a Badtz Maru. I think he probably look like a bad guy.

Or his hair…doesn’t that look like his long lost twin brother…LOLOL.

Well, if you’re paying almost 10 bucks for a glass of coffee, you better make it worth it by taking more pictures!

Family portrait of kitty, Badtz Maru & Fake Maru aka J. All ready to plunge into the eggish delicacy!

The food was only average. Nothing fanciful, nothing especially tasty or good. The price was quite reasonable though. I think the plate of brunch only cost $12-15.

The omelet was filled with salmon and ham.

I think his two thumbs up says it all for our first experience at chock full of beans! As much as i wanna agree with J, I think it deserves only one thumb up for the interesting 3D latte art which is uncommon among other cafe. One less thumbs up cos i felt the food & coffee was just so-so.

Well, just a matter of time when more cafes with latte art starts peppering the streets of singapore and I will be ready to conquer every single one with J!

So Stay Tuned! 🙂
