#SG50 with Fish & Co.

So everyone out there in the market are paying tribute to SG50 in their own unique way. Question now is how about the all famous Fish & Co?

This brings me to our recent visit down to Fish & Co @ Glasshouse Park Mall which needs no introduction. What really needs introduction instead is their #SoSingaporean ‘SG50 set’ meal which will be made available for 50 days! So that means time is ticking down as you read this post!

So to save your time, I shall just dive straight to the fin-tabulous SG50 set which comprised of ‘Grilled White Fish blanketed in our #SoSingaporean savoury Sedap Chilli Crab sauce’….

…Crispy white baits which compliments fabulously with the Mayo sauce…

….& a glass of refreshing Coca-Cola! All these for a reasonable price of $26.95! And this is not all! To sweeten the deal further, for every homemade SG50 set ordered, you get to receive a free Limited Edition SG50 Coca-Cola Aluminium Bottle to commemorate this day you had this SG50 meal with your loved ones especially the Pioneer Generation/Elderly in your house!

Nonetheless, we were not there just to try the SG50 meal that day! In fact, Fish & Co also launched their new Norwegian Salmon meal menu which consists of one Starter dish & two main dishes. This gives you an additional option for big eaters like me to call for another starter: the ‘Salmon Carpaccio’ where Sashimi-grade salmon was dressed with tantalising green chilli sauce – $9.95 (as shown on the right side of the flatlay picture below).

I particularly enjoyed having this starter dish as the salmon slices were rather thick thus making it a very value-for-money dish! Furthermore, the palatable green chilli sauce seeks to awake your appetite for your upcoming main dishes!

Whereas for the two main dishes, one is this ‘Coat of Cajun’ where Norwegian salmon is coated with Cajun crust and served with honey tomato confit – $19.95 . This was easily one of my favourite dish that night as they used the meat at the Salmon belly for this dish. This simply mean that the meat was much juicer and softer! I could take this dish anytime even with a full stomach!

Our Indian community will have something to hooray about at Fish & Co this season as the other main dish that was rolled out is this ‘Taste of Tandoori’ where slabs of superior salmon were cooked in homemade tandoori recipe and served with cucumber mint dip – $19.95.

For those who aren’t that good with spicy food, you might wanna be careful with this one! It might be your greatest challenge for the night. Heh Heh!

Personally, I preferred the Coat of Cajun over this one as the spice was a tat overpowering and meat too ‘dry’ for my liking. Personally, I still prefer to have a taste of that Omega Fat leaking out from my salmon fish. But ultimately, it is still up to individual preferences as on the other hand, M did enjoyed the Tandoori one nonetheless! Hmm.. starts to make me wonder if there is an Indian under that Chinese facade of hers! ><

To conclude this post, I just like to share a GREAT deal for all you youngsters out there who want to exhibit your filial piety while still save on your pocket! This is because PG get to have a 50% off their limited edition Fish & Co SG50 set with another main course purchased during this period of 1-31 August 2015.

Wait no longer to show your appreciation to your mother nature & elderly in your home!
