I spend so much time refreshing my Facebook, Twitter, Instagram whenever I have nothing to do which is also why I do not have the guts to renew my current phone plan because my data plan is still 12GB. Once I re-contract, I would have to settle for less, 2-3gb.
I am extremely guilty of it. I don’t use my phone for SMSes or phone calls. Majority of the time was spent on whatsapping, and social media.
So how do I go about solving this issue? Solve this issue with Singtel’s Easy Mobile. Easy Mobile is the first postpaid mobile service in Asia which allow users to customize their plans every month to suit their lifestyle needs and budget.
As seen in the picture, you can choose between S, M, L and XL.
One unit is equivalent to either: – 50 minutes of outgoing local calls OR – 500 SMS/MMS OR – 0.5GB of local data usage
I don’t think S would be sufficient for me because if I have to shift all 4 units to Data, I would only have 2GB. But it would definitely enough for people who are less active on social media.
M size sounds good because 10 units is just nice for me. 2 units on the talk time (100mins) and 8 units on the Data (4GB). SMS/MMS is out for me when there’s whatsapp :X
But right now, I am currently using Size L (16 units).
200 mins talk time (4 units) 500 SMS (1 unit) 5.5GB Data (11 units)
Once you are firm with the decision, click confirm and a message will pop out to remind you that you can only tweak your place once per month.
Monitor your usage, you may have accidentally exceeded on your data last month so you can set aside more units for it next month. The same for calls or SMSes.
So you can basically change your plan 12 times a year!!
