LP+TETSU, 2 affordable & world class cuisines
Featuring LP-TETSU, whose chef is a One Michelin Starred Chef, Chef Laurent Peugeot who deftly executes both authentic Japanese and French styles with precision and ease.
Now, the lauded chef has created a variety of Japanese as well as French menus that are bound to wow his guests. These menus are the most affordable ones ever offered by a Michelin starred chef!
One example is the Japanese Bento Box ($28) shown above. Dig into the freshest selection of sashimi, breaded pork loin that has a crunchy exterior and tender inside.
How many fine dining places can you find at such prices (moreover, with a Michelin Chef)?
Surprisingly, the rice was my favourite item in the bento. It was so good that I don’t even mind having it plain.
Diners can look forward to Chef Peugeot’s unique ability to awaken all five sense during a meal. Not only do his creations smell and taste good, they are visually appealing as well.
Let’s go through some of the food that was in the menu that night.
My favourite course was the Tempura, Tofu, Mini Legumes, Dashi Consomme. The tofu was soaked in warm miso soup with fried tempura on the other plate. I really liked the miso soup so I had an extra serving of it that night.
Miso Red Fruits. Chiogga Beetroot with Duck Breast.
This was really tender and good. A nice blend of flavours and the meat was so soft and chewy.
My dessert was the refreshing Blood Orange Sorbet with chocolate, beetroot. You gotta finish it fast before the sobert melts!
With “Encounters”, the consummate chef turns everyday ingredients such as damon and duck breast into haute cuisines. If you prefer the french menus, you can choose to have either the 2 course or 3 course meal at $35 and $45 respectively.
The menu will change monthly so patrons can expect new surprises every month. They are available from 6 November onwards and from lunch to early dinner (7.30pm) daily.
