Bioderma Cleansing Water

I haven’t tried Bioderma Cleansing Water before even though bloggers were always singing praises of them. That is because I usually try whatever is sent to me and would only buy my own cleansing water/milk when I run out of them. Having said that, I have already tried numerous brands and Bioderma is now one of my favorites!

Let us begin by wearing a hairband for the cleansing to take place…

Below are my takes on the different types of cleansing water:

Bioderma Sensibio H2O is also voted Best Beauty Buys Women’s Weekly 2013 winner.

The cleansing water is free of soap, alcohol and fragrance. They have pioneered micellar solutions specially formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skins. Although it can removes water-resistant make up easily, it is gentle and cleanses the face and eyes well.

Micellar are cleansing oils that are suspended in the water. And they are so so so tingy that you do not feel it nor do they leave a greasy after-feel after using the cleansing water. The texture feels just like water! Just soak one cotton pad with the cleansing water and it will remove your entire make up (if you do not apply thick make up).

In case I confuse you, take note of the cap colours. They represent a different purpose.

Bioderma Hydrabio H2O is suitable for sensitive and dehydrated skin. I personally find it similar to Sensibio H2O as both of them are suitable for sensitive skin. However, Hydrabio H2O contains Aquagenium that helps the skin to regain its natural moisturizing and water retention ability which is essential for it’s balance.

Also voted Best Beauty Buys Women’s Weekly 2014!

Bioderma Sebium H2O is perfect for oil or acne prone skin. However, it is not mentioned if you can use it around the eye area. The liquid is slightly blue and has a bit of scent. I love how convenient it is as you do not have to rinse your face after cleansing. Just pat your face dry!

Note: If you have sensitive skin, you may want to try Sensibio or Hydrabio).

Bioderma ABCDerm H2O is also suitable for babies! It cleans the fine and irritated skin of babies and small children and is perfectly tolerated on the skin around the eye areas. Like Sebium H2O, no rinsing off is needed.

My current favourites are Hydrabio and Sensibio. They are also available in smaller bottles and are easily available in leading pharmacies. You can probably try them out by getting a small bottle first. The small bottles are also suitable for travels!
