Venting ground
Caution: Immature entry.
I don’t know since when but love does not naively just involves 2 person anymore. You get friends who are really concern and friends who are just busybodies and wants to find out everything that they don’t know.
I can fully understand from a friend’s point of view if they are concern. They would send you words of encouragement and keep you going or console you when you’re down and lost. All these of course, comes from the closer friends.
But what about the not so close friends or even strangers?
There is just this annoying insecurity girl whom I thought she was okay at first because she was one of my best friend (J)’s girlfriend. The nightmare was, she was an angel in disguise. And even that, would be an understatement for her character.
She disliked me (I knew it from the start but I see no point in arguing with someone so much younger than me – in terms of mentality as well – yeah, I was trying to avoid using the word IMMATURE). I put up with her nonsense right from the start given the fact that she was J’s girlfriend. Judging from my character, I would flare up right at the first time she stepped on my tail. She disliked me because of her stupid insecurities with her boyfriend. What has it got to do with me? We knew each other since many years ago and we are all a clique. We are all adults (not her).
She added me on Facebook even before she got together with J. I don’t know for what but I guess she wanted to stalk him?
Hoping that she would grow up and stop, no. Things just got worst. She texted T and told him that I love money and is materialistic. Oh really? I do not like to waste money on stuffs I do not like. And what about materialistic? My family is not exactly well to do but FYI, I was given a car to drive hours after I got my driving licence and I do not like to spend my boyfriend’s money. I believe M and D can vouch for that. I like buying labels but that is only if I can afford it but so what? I USED MY OWN MONEY AND YOU CALL ME MATERIALISTIC? I was brought up in an environment like this, I am sorry but I am exactly opposite from you because I can’t buy clothes from Pasar Malam like you do (ouch, this personal attack was not intentional. I merely learnt it from you).
Next, she was afraid of the guy (T) who was going after me getting hurt and bullied. WHY HELLO YOU, lock him up in his room then? Keep him in your pocket? Who is she? I don’t even know her. Who is she to judge? Oh, I also heard that she don’t usually text him. It was only after she found out he likes me. Dafuq? This is not the first time and neither would it be the last.
Also, if she dislike me that much, does she really think that my clique likes her? NO. I do not like the way she treat J. J is a matured guy while she is the extremely childish kind (I experienced it myself during one of the gathering session few weeks ago). But we have never commented on it because it was J’s choice. We can only give him our blessings. I really really like J as a brother and wouldn’t want this to affect our friendship.
Seriously Miss, I do know that you have quite a big mouth on your face but please hide it with a beautiful personality. People who know you knows that you are very religious and I believe that your religion teaches you to be humble and not harm others. So think twice before you shoot anything off your huge mouth. Thank you.
All these personal attacks are not necessary but if you need more, I would gladly give them to you.
My two cents worth: Insecurities and jealousy only make you look uglier.
Sincerely,
Maybeline
