Jaybee on a weekend

Not complaining that Singapore is too small or the living cost is high, but there is just so much you can do or eat here. J and I decided to visit JB for some light goceries shopping and seafood with some closer friends of his last Sunday.

Not sure if we were lucky that day, but we had no jam going in at 1pm and coming back at 9pm! The traffic was quite smooth!

The icecream there were so cheap that I don’t even wanna buy them in Singapore anymore. It is only RM1 per stick, which also means that it only cost 40 cents in Msia while charging us $1-1.20 for the same stick -.-

Same price for paddle pop too!

Lunch was kway chup for 6 pax at RM33 ($13.20). SUPER CHEAP! Though I am a fan of eggs, but I did not attack the eggs that day because the eggs were not bouncy. I can be really fussy about the quality of my food! The boys were very happy with the meat though.

The kway tiao for the kway chup was good!!!

Dinner was at this 101 restaurant opposite Plaza Sentosa. I thought it was pricey in Msia because it cost RM110 ($44) for a kg of crabs. Probably cost about the same or more as compared to our Zi Char.

The egg was too salty.

But the seafood like cod fish and crabs were very very fresh (with the cod fish being salty too).

Went to KSL to shop but could get nothing except a handphone cover while J got some lenses.

Didn’t like the clothes or bags there. I guess we can only go in for food and more food cause they are generally a lot cheaper (donuts, blackballs etc)….

How was your experience there?
