Everyone knows how in love I am with dogs. Basically, ANY dogs, be it stray or owned. I don’t really post pictures of my pup in Instagram because it isn’t a pet application. Having said that, I always explore pictures of DOGS! Pugs and shih tzus in particular.
So I was really happy when I heard about Petfie. Basically, it gathers pet and animal lovers!

Yup yup, you can create a profile for your pet too!!!
I created a profile for Roven just minutes ago. He is actually a shih tzu X maltese.
It connects people together because you can integrate the community of the animals in a map’s view! I roamed around the entire Singapore looking at the different animals. You can also randomly upload a picture of the animal you saw on the street and tag it at it’s location.
By doing so, you can help the animals as well. For example, the Cat Welfare Society (CWS) of Singapore will be making use of the application for stray cats where they help to sterilize the cat.
If you think the animal is cute, you can follow it too!! Basically, it’s works like some of the other social networking app you see but you can help them at the same time.

Hopefully in the near future, Petfie can be a one-stop umbrella for ALL animal-related businesses/services and animal welfare organization. Being a HUGE fan of dogs, I can’t wait to see this happen!!!
