My Chinese New Year 2016

Heyyo! It’s not the first time I am spending Chinese New Year without James because this half Malaysian is wanted at Malacca by his relatives. Haha. I am a very very family orientated person so staying in Singapore with my parents is my priority.

Ever since I started work, I haven’t had a full day of CNY celebration because my workplace do not close on Public Holidays. Not complaining, but working life is not that bad after all. So this year’s 初一 was my first full day in 3 years. I needed a one day rest because life was quite hectic recently and I thought 初一 would be a good time to take a break.

Except for the pair of red Melissa Shoes courtesy of Melissa Singapore, which I have yet to wear, I haven’t really gotten myself any new outfits this year because my room is in a total mess and I don’t want new additions :/

I also did slightly thicker make up by apply multiple layers of Hypnose Doll Eyes mascara from Lancome to give the eyes a more define look. I skipped the eye lashes curling step because I felt that the eyes are quite define already.





Other than catching up with relatives, I had to catch up with their pets too – ranging from dogs to guinea pig. Hahaha.

Not forgetting about gambling too. I think my lucky is pretty good this year!! Hehe. Collected 9 angbaos so far – Not a lot because I skipped Day 2 totally. Looking forward to this weekend!
