Mooncake by Xin Cuisine

Sponsored

Other than Chinese New Year, my second favourite festival is Mid Autumn Festival because I LOVE EATING MOONCAKES.

My first box of moon cakes this year is from Xin Cuisine by Holiday Inn Atrium.

You will find our National Flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim printed on the moon cake boxes this year. This is in commemoration of SG50, Singapore’s Golden Jubilee. It comes in a blue box with purple orchids or a pink box with gold orchids. Either way, the boxes are really pretty and well-designed.

As much as I love most moon cakes, I still prefer the traditional ones with two egg yolks. The newest addition to Xin Cuisine’s selection of baked classics is Assorted Nuts with Osmanthus Honey. With a refreshing note of osmanthus, this rendition of assorted nuts baked mooncake will please everyone’s palate.

You can get it at 2 or 4 pieces a box. Priced at SGD38 and SGD58 respectively.

Other classics like Low Sugar White Lotus Seed Paste with Double/Single Egg Yolk, Low Sugar White Lotus Seed Paste, Assorted Traditional Mooncakes are also available.

Xin’s Mini Special Egg Custard Mooncake with Egg yolk and a tinge of edible gold flake is their best selling signature moon cake and this combination here makes a very pretty gift and yummilicious delight this season.

A box of 6 pieces at SGD54.

As for their snow skin moon cakes, Xin cuisine also have 2 new flavors:
– Purple Sweet Potato with Macadamia Nuts
– Coffee White Lotus Seed Paste with Rum & Raisin);

On top of their all-time favorites:

– Peranakan Durian
– Pandan White Lotus Seed Paste with Champagne Chocolate
