Firstly, Paint your base coat follow by your desired nail colour.
I used O.P.I colour H19.

Painted 2 coats for it to look more even. (nails palour always paint 2 coats too)

Allow your base colour to air dry.
Paint any transparent glitter over it.
I painted 1/3 of the nail only. (1/2 of the nail would be nice too)

Ta-dah! All 5 half glitters done.
Personally, I feel that this simplicity looks good too.

Allow it to air dry again & paint solid silver glitter as french.
Allow it to dry FULLY & paint the top coat last.
