One staple item in my makeup pouch is BB cushion and LANEIGE BB cushion was my first.

James always complain about me overspending on clothes and cosmetics. Cosmetics are generally way more expensive than clothes.
Now, I know where to stock up for the cheapest and branders cosmetics and perfumes! The ultimate shopping experience with 182 Cosmetics and Perfume brands can be found in our Changi Airport!!! It has the largest collection of beauty brands among airport duty free shops in Asia Pacific.
The prices are up to 40% cheaper than what is retailing in the city from Marc Jacobs to SK-II to Revlon to Laneige to Chanel to Jo Malone to NARS and more. Some sets are travel-exclusive so you can only get it inside. Terminal 1 was also the first place to launch the world’s first new SK-II AurActivator Complete Correction Cream!

Makeup of the day
What are your top few favourite makeup brands when it comes to blushers?
I have personally tried a lot of brands, but I still have a lot which are uncovered yet.
I love highly pigmented blushers because I don’t like apply them again and again. But having said that, I don’t wanna look like a monkey’s butt too.
I also love blushes that comes with a little brush so that I don’t have to carry extra brushes around.
My top favourite is currently from Laneige and Revlon.
Although you don’t see Revlon in the picture above, I am currently using this:
Yup, that’s my first Coral blusher instead of my usual pink. I bought this when I left house without makeup one day. I need a blusher and a lipstick but there was a promotion going on. So I thought, hey why not. It seems good.
Highly pigmented and long lasting. I don’t have to retouch my makeup with this blusher. Money well spent on “accident”.

I have a sufficient supply of makeup that is good enough to last me for years but I still go weak at them at departmental stores. I can’t resist lip colors especially!!

Lastly, the cutest thing in the collaboration is the Eye Shadow ($40)!!!!
It has a doggy inside, featuring the pattern “Doggie’s playing Leopard”, the iconic design pattern of the collection. It features 3 highly pigmented shades – Pink-Brown, Beige and Hot Pink.
I used the Pink-Brown as a highlighter on the face as well.

My entire room smells so nice right now because LANEIGE sent over a box of pleasant smelling rainbow over for their 20th birthday!!

Laneige K-Beauty Cushions / Lip Tints
As if I haven’t love Laneige BB Cushion enough….. They have a new BB cushion now! It’s the BB Cushion Pore Control along with some other Water Lip Tints!

BB Cusion is now my base for every makeup. Laneige BB Cushion can save you the trouble of applying sunblock because it is SPF 50+. That is the benefit of using BB Cushion.
Among the different cushions that I have tried, Laneige is one of the top list that I would buy again and again after finishing the current one. There are some brands which I have yet to try personally but makeup artists have used them on me for shoots.
I like Laneige’s for their:
1. High coverage
2. Dewy finish
3. Long lasting make up
BB Cushion Pore Control is slightly different because it has a matte finish while retaining the higher coverage property. It also contains a pore purifying complex to purify the pores and enhance the skin’s capability to prevent further pore troubles. We all hate enlarge pores don’t we???!!
People with dry skin would prefer the original. And I would strongly recommend people with oily or combination skin the Pore Control Cushion.
Their Water Drop Tint also got me going gah-gah!! With so many different shades to choose from, I can’t decide which color suits me most!!
The thing about their lip tint is that it acts as a moisturizer as well. The texture is glossy and watery which makes the lips look even more volumized and plumper.
I swear I wanted to pink on the lips even before they sent these over. Pink lips is the current trend for K-Beauty no? Friends who had/are visiting Korea would usually ask me if I need anything from Korea and I gave all of them the same answer “Get me a really pink lipstick thank you!”
Their neon pink looks goooooood too!
Favourite among the three is the Hot Pink (middle) one. You know how some lip tints will look on the lips, either way lighter or way darker but these actually stay true to the color you see in the picture during the application. They don’t stain your lips as well!

Lip colour – Laneige
My motto for make up is to never leave house without a lipstick in my bag.
Not sure about you, but I find lip stains as an essential rather than eyeliners; not that I can leave house without the eyes drawn.
Current love is from Laneige Serum Intense Lipstick – LR05 Flash Pink.
I love how it keeps my lips moisturized and coloured at the same time.

I was tied between 2 events but had decided to skip one of it and head over to Laneige because it is one of my favourite makeup/skincare brands! I was filled with awe when I attended the launch of their new makeups: Click here to read
This time, they have came out with new and improved products in addition to their White Plus Renew Line and 6-in-1 BB Cushion!
The technology behind the improved formula is the Melacrusher Technology. To explain it in layman, a cell self-purification systems is accelerated to regulate melanin and waste materials that contribute to dull skin and pigmentation, while inhibiting melanin formation and transfer.
This essential step stimulates a cell to break down melanin and eliminate tri-coloured undertones – red, yellow and dark – resulting in a pure, flawless and radiant-looking skin that is 2 tones brighter.
The technology is formulated with 3 key ingredients:
Truffle Yeast Extract – Anti-oxidant and anti-yellowness care

The model had no makeup on her and she used the products and created a totally different look on the model!
