Two new items from Vichy on my make up desk are:

First up, the Aqualia Thermal Night Spa. I love sleeping pack because they are so easy to use and I can pamper the skin by just applying a layer of mask before sleeping. It sounds so effortlessly~ I think all Singaporean should at least own a sleeping mask because of the very dry and humid weather here in Singapore, we tend to sleep in air-conditioned rooms at night.

 

 

Use this mask for a rested, radiant and beautiful skin. It is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid and Aquabioryl, known to replenish the skin with hydration and form a protective film. Essential oils are also injected into the mask to rejuvenate and erase signs of fatigue.

For people who don’t like sleeping with a mask on, you can also use this Night Spa as your night time moisturizer.

I would recommend you to mask once every 3 days for 10-15 minutes. The texture is not as thick as what it looked like. As the name says, Aqua and Aqua means water. It has a watery gel texture and gets absorbed quickly. As for fragrance wise, NOT BAD! It smells refreshing but has a little hint of herbs.

I realized that this mask works better on James than me as results were seen on his skin faster. I guess this must be due to his late sleeping habits and hectic work life. He woke up with healthier and supple looking skin after 2 weeks of application. No breakouts were experienced during the 2 weeks.

Also mentioned in the previous entry, it was one of my favourite item in the entire range and it has a gel based that is neither too sticky nor too rich for the skin.

 

 

True enough, the product didn’t disappoint me! My face looks brighter and healthier. I am currently still using it hoping to achieve flawless luminosity.

Also because I used to fish quite frequently in the past, my arms are darker than my body and my face so I am thinking of applying it to my arms as well. How pampering right? I can literally hear my arms crying for joy!!

It has a very pleasant scent, like all the other products in this range. I use it on a daily basis, both times after the essence every day and night.

Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish cream

Today’s review is Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish cream SPF 40, PA++
Background information: Klairs is against animal testing as well!

Functions of the BB cream :
– Protection from sun
– Whitening
– Wrinkle improvement
– Sebum control

Each tube of BB cream is 40ml long. Heh.
As you can see from the picture, it is actually quite big. Generous amount!

Because Korean love natural makeups, and Klairs is a korean brand,
I am trying to apply as little makeup as possible for the natural look here 😀

Suitable for both dry, oily or combination skin.

And they do not cause:
– Grey undertone
– Cakey
– Darkening

You can replace your current primer or finishing power with this cream which contains sebum control powder that maintains makeup from morning to the afternoon.

Klair’s BB cream is brighter and lighter in colour when you compare it to other brands.

Also, it fits naturally from dark skin tone to light skin tone and it can be re-applied anytime for extra sun protection.

Important: Non sticky.

My hands look so old and wrinkled in these pictures!

So I am hoping for Klair’s BB cream to reduce the wrinkles as well other than the face.

How to apply?

1. Apply adequate amount onto the fingers
2. Blend in from the under eye area to the cheeks
3. Gently dab around the area for blending

Photo-beauty therapy turns light into a cosmetic ingredient.

Look at the texture. Light and clear.
Most importantly, not sticky at all! Some essence can be sticky even after rubbing.

Now for the anti-aging series. Photo-Beauty Therapy – ANTI- AGEING Serum.

Likewise, it is easily absorb and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling as well.

It transforms light into cellular energy. Has anti-wrinking and firming action and moisturizes as it contains rose hip oil and vegetal glycerin.

Signs of aging are said to be reduced after 4 weeks of application.

Photo-Beauty Therapy ANTI-AGEING Cream which works the same way as the serum but in cream form. I personally like the serum more 🙂

The brightening range – Photo-Beauty Therapy BRIGHTENING Serum.

It also transforms light into cellular energy and helps regenerate and protect the skin’s DNA. The brightening range also lightens the complexion, anti-dark spot action and moisturizes.

This cream is slightly stickier as compared to the rest which are not sticky at all.

PPSSST: You don’t need real sunlight to activate the Photo-Beauty Enzyme. It works well with any other artificial light as well and it takes only seconds to be activated.

For example, 1. Apply the product, 2. Walk to the switch and off the light and prepare for bed.
